Background
The website's name is inspired by a famous quote from Charlie Munger.
During a shareholder meeting in the late 1990s, Munger remarked, “The first $100,000 is a b****, but you gotta do it.” “I don’t care what you have to do,”
he said. “If it means walking everywhere and not eating anything that wasn’t purchased with a coupon, find a way to get your hands on $100,000.”

About Me
What’s my current income, spending, and net worth?
My current salary is approximately €70,000 per year, depending on my bonus. Additionally, I earn around €10,000 per year from side hustles, bringing my total annual income to €80,000. After taxes, I take home approximately €50,000 per year.
I don't have extravagant spending habits; most of my expenses go towards travel. I don't spend much on clothes or other items. As of 2024, my net worth is approximately €100,000.
What is my profession?
I studied at one of the top technical universities in Germany and hold a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. I work full-time as a strategy and management consultant.
How is my money invested?
I invest in stocks that interest me and keep some cash on hand for good opportunities. I primarily favor technology stocks. Due to rising interest rates in Germany, purchasing real estate isn't feasible for me at the moment, so I invest mostly in REITs on a monthly basis.
What is my Financial Independence, Retire Early (FIRE) number?
I don't have a specific financial target. My goal is to be in a position where I can quit my job whenever I no longer enjoy it. At the moment, I still enjoy my work.
